Ingredients 3 ripe avocados 1 clove garlic or ½ t. garlic powder
1 tomato 1 green onion Juice of ½ of a fresh squeezed lime 1 bag
tortilla chips
Directions
1. Wash the tomato and green
onion. Then chop them into small pieces and set aside.
2. Cut the avocados in half. Use a spoon to dig out the pit. (Set the pit aside.) Scoop
the insides of the avocados into a bowl and mash it with a fork.
3.
Peel the garlic and squeeze it through a garlic press onto the top of the avocados.
4. Add the tomato, onion, and lime juice. Mix thoroughly.
5. Serve with the tortilla chips.
6. To prevent any leftovers
from turning brown, put the avocado pit back in the bowl, cover tightly with
plastic wrap, and refrigerate.
7. To sprout an avocado tree, stick 4
toothpicks half way up the sides of the pit and suspend it over a glass of
water. Put the rounded end in the water, with the pointed end up. In about a
week, it will begin to sprout. After a month, you can transfer your plant to a
pot of soil.
