I've watched the whole series of LOST and now I’m happy to own the Season 4 DVD set which comes with lots of interesting features. The LOST television show is about an airline named Oceanic Air Flight 815 that is torn apart in mid-air and crashes on a Pacific Island. The survivors are forced not only to live on the island, but are also exposed to all types of people and mysterious things, including the island itself holding its own secrets.

The cast have returned along with four new main characters. Many cool pieces of the puzzle are revealed and some of the survivors get to return home. Here are some of my favorite highlights of Season 4 include:

An episode when Desmond bounces back and forth between time, sort of like time travel. At first, he isn’t sure what is happening, but then after it happens several times it becomes clear. There is risk of him dying if he gets lost in a past time. He isn’t quite himself when he bounces and is actually his younger self. He needed to find some common thing to keep him grounded in both the past and current time.

Michael returns to this season. He is depressed but can’t kill himself when he tries. The island won’t let him. There is some sort of destiny that he is supposed to carry out.

I don’t want to give away too many details, but just know that characters die; there are big explosions, serious bad guys, surprise relationships and people who work with other people you would never expect to see working together.

This DVD set includes interesting features that came along with a small humorous Oceanic Airline Pamphlet. The extras on the DVD contained the usual deleted scenes and ‘making of’ scenes, but also had a special “made up” feature story that mimicked a ‘history’ or ‘hoax’ exposing documentary. It was quite funny.
